Shallow, protected water that works especially well for families
Baby Beach is worth the drive when you want shallow, calm, protected water. I especially like it for families, casual swimmers, and anyone who wants to float around without dealing with bigger waves. The lagoon color is beautiful, and there can be decent buceo con snorkel near the edges, but I would still be careful outside the protected area because the current changes quickly. It can feel busy during peak times and weekends, so I prefer going earlier. Overall, it is one of Aruba’s most memorable beach settings and a good change of pace from the Palm Beach and Eagle Beach side.
