A quieter local-feeling spot with some of Aruba’s best snorkeling
Mangel Halto feels very different from the big resort beaches, and that is a big part of why I like it. The mangroves, blue water, stairs, bridges, and reef areas make it feel more natural and less commercial. For snorkeling, it can be one of the best spots on the island when the water is calm and visibility is good. It is not the easiest beach for everyone because entry points can be rocky or stepped, and it is better if you bring water shoes and your own supplies. For a quiet beach stop, photos, and serious snorkeling, Mangel Halto is one of my favorites.
